Meet The NWSP Team

  • Natalie Williams

    Natalie Williams studied Speech Pathology at Flinders University, graduating in 2001. She has experience in all areas of adult practice.

    Natalie has special interest in swallowing difficulties, communication, Parkinson’s disease and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation.

    As well as providing one on one therapy, Natalie consults with organisations on speech pathology issues and relevant procedures.

    Natalie’s links to Flinders University remain strong through clinical education and tutoring in the Bachelor and Masters of Speech Pathology programs. She mentors early career speechies and values her ever increasing network of colleagues.

  • Lizzy Sarris

    Lizzy Sarris graduated from a Masters in Speech Pathology in 2010. She has a background in Human Movement and Health Science.

    She has a keen interest in the management of swallowing and communication disorders with clients who have neurodegenerative disorders, brain injury and stroke. Lizzy also specialises is assessment and implementation of high tech AAC (alternative and augmented communication).

    Lizzy works in aged care facilities, the community and both public and private hospitals.

  • Mark Elliot

    Mark Elliot has been a practising speech pathologist for over 20 years. His particular interest area is swallowing difficulties, and he works mainly with people with complex conditions including those resulting from cancer treatment. Mark is able to undertake modified barium swallow studies in conjunction with a radiologist to aid in diagnosis and management of dysphagia.

  • Laura Johns

    Laura Johns graduated from a Master of Speech Pathology in 2015. She has a background in Psychological Science.

    Laura is experienced in the management of swallowing and communication disorders with clients who have neurodegenerative disorders, experienced a brain injury or stroke. Laura works with Augumentive and Alternative Communication to help clients build their “toolbox” of communication skills.

    Laura believes eating/drinking and communicating are the way we connect with the world. Laura works in aged care facilities, the community and both public and private hospitals to help clients achieve these goals.

  • Elle Gepp

    Elle Gepp completed her Masters of Speech Pathology in 2014. She has experience working with adults in swallowing and communication management in both the private and public sector. She has a background in Health Science and a strong interest in neuroplasticity, stroke rehabilitation and aphasia.

  • Sarah Kloeden

    Sarah Kloeden graduated from a Masters of Speech Pathology in 2011, having previously completed a Bachelor of Health Science. She has since worked extensively with adults in acute, rehabilitation, community, NDIS and aged care settings, in both public and private.

    Sarah is passionate about helping her clients with two of the things people often take for granted the most; the ability to eat and drink, and the ability to communicate with those we care about. She has a particular interest in working with people with neurodegenerative conditions and following acquired brain injury, helping in the management of swallowing, communication and cognitive difficulties. She is experienced in conducting Video Fluoroscopy Swallow Studies, in conjunction with a Radiologist.

  • Ashlee Robertson

    Ashlee Robertson graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from Flinders University in 2010. She has a keen interest in the diagnosis and management of swallowing disorders and cognitive communication disorders, and practises with a strong focus on quality of life for her clients.

    Her speech pathology roles in acute, rehab and community settings have taken her to regional SA, the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the United Kingdom.

    Ashlee is currently working in SA’s South East and supports our aged care and community clients in this area.

  • Jacqui Lind

    Jacqui Lind is an experienced speech pathologist with a special interest in complex communication rehabilitation, acquired brain injury, and practical client-centred therapy approaches.

    Her speech pathology roles have taken her to metro and rural/regional areas across acute, rehab and community settings.

    Jacqui is currently on leave, but will return to the Team later in 2022.
